Director's Preparation Working Group

This working group is exploring the development of a New Jersey Director’s Credential. A credential refers to the awarding of a Certificate, or other document which certifies that an individual has mastered a specific set of defined skills and knowledge, and has demonstrated competencies for performance as a director in early care and education or out of school-time. The Credential will provide an educational path as New Jersey raises the bar for early care and education and out of school-time professionals.
